How does MEDI-access works?

MEDI-access has 3 components namely:

1. MEDI-Access Fee (MAF) – MAF is a one-time access fee which serves as your ticket to access all the network of hospitals & clinics nationwide. MAF is Php392.00 (inclusive of 12% VAT) per person per year.

2. HEALTH FUND. Serves as the revolving fund where actual utilization shall be deducted. The amount of health fund is variable and is based on the six (6) months average utilization of the CLIENT. If the utilization report is not available or the CLIENT has no utilization history, then HEALTHWAY MEDICAL shall based the amount of the Health Fund at One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P1, 500.00) per enrollee.

3. Administrative Fee – is 12% of the total amount of charge for claims handling and processing per transaction/account charged to the CLIENT subject to 12% VAT outside Healthway Medical clinics.

This will be computed as follows:

• Total claim for In patient and Out patient + 12% admin fee
• Outpatient labs/consult (outside Healthway) + 12% admin fee
• Inpatient/Hospital Bill (including Doctors fee) + 12% admin fee

Sample Computation:

All availments are subject to 12% admin fee, except for availments at Healthway Medical Clinic.

Above rates except the Health Fund is subject to 12% VAT.
